What’s in an Adventure?

Our pack leader brings each group to adventure location in an off-leash wilderness area within Whitehorse. During the journey, dogs practice patience and manners around entering or exiting thresholds, particularly in the FawkesWagon.

The trail time itself involves continuous hiking, running, biking, or cross-country skiing (depending on group activity level) monitored socialization, with intervals of skill work such as individual and group recall, sit and down stays, among other work where possible. Our pack leader comes equipped with high quality treats of various values, primarily local, including treats sourced from our friends at Circle D Ranch and Fish Lake Road to reward success. Our trail duration varies and depends on the intensity of activity, but generally last 1:15 - 1:45 hours long or 6 - 12km (the shorter duration yet longer distance reserved for our elite run/ski/bike crews). Following their hike, the dream team is loaded up and chauffeured back to their individual homes or HQ depending on their package of choice.

*”Pack Members” are dogs who hike with us at least once per week, and pay and subscribe bi-monthly. We love our pack members and their commitment to regular fitness, socialization, and adventure, so we reward them with discounted rates (and heaps of other goodies from time to time!). Pack Members can choose to subscribe at whichever weekly frequency fits their lifestyle and their pups activity level: from one to four times per week.

** “Day Stay” and our late pickup option both include an extra pee and social break midday and in the late afternoon. Day Stay is a great option for out of town dog parents who can’t make it all the way home for lunch breaks. You can also pick your pup up for your own lunch walk.
